Greetings and welcome to Workday Wanderlust! My name is Julie and I started this site a few years ago to share the best of my weekend travel photos—for the days when we’re all stuck behind the desk and desperately need an escape.
At the end of 2017, I took my wanderlust a step further and did something bold and crazy: I quit my desk job to travel the world for a year! Now, this site serves as a landing place for my travel stories, adventure updates, and photos from around the globe.
I hope my stories and photos serve as inspiration for your own travels; to encourage you to use the time you have—whether it’s the weekend, or a holiday or one of those unused vacation days gathering dust—to get out there and see the world. We only have one life — why not make the most of it?!
